  1. Tag Forum Code Of Conduct

    28 October 2011 - 03:22 PM

For those who aren't aware, or maybe need a refresher....

    TAG Forum Code of Conduct

    1) No profanity. Please keep it G/PG rated. While younger folks normally don't read these forums, they might be reading over Daddy or Mommy's shoulder. Also G/PG language helps to keep tempers cool.

    2) No "flaming". If you really feel you must argue, KEEP IT “OFF-FORUM” OR TAKE IT "OFF-FORUM". This includes no trolling/baiting (i.e. posting in such a manner as to intentionally provoke a negative response). A zero policy for this results in forum access denied for a determined amount of time at the Command Staff's descretion.

    3) The contents of personal mail are personal. If the original sender did not post to this forum, DO NOT post copies or replies to this forum. If it warrants, privately inform your Garrison Chain of Command and if your Garrison CO deems it necessary, the Legion Council does to.

    4) Please truncate messages (refrain from quoting previous posts) when possible as a courtesy to those getting e-mail digests from this forum.

    5) If you don't like getting lots of e-mails, limit your notifications, digests, and subscriptions through your members Profile section.

6)(i) Please try to keep posts as "On Topic" as possible (i.e. related to 501st events, activities, votes, armor mods, etc.). When posting a new topic or a response to a topic, please pause and think. Remember that your post will be visible to all the members of this group and may not necessarily contribute to a particular thread.
(ii) Only video or images of TAG/501st sanctioned events (unless it has been pre-arranged & is deemed acceptable by the C.O. of TAG) is allowed to be posted on the TAG Forums. This includes links to where the video or images are located. This rule does not apply to theforce.net fan films.
Failure to do this will result in deletion of the post & a PM &/or email sent to the individual who posted it by a moderator.
(iii) Personal images &/or video is permitted. (e.g.
family functions, you cooking or doing the gardening in armour), but not held to, are just examples & is still subject to forum moderation.

    7) Sales of merchandise. Please keep all "non-501st" sales/trades posts limited to the appropriate sub-forum (Trading Post) and the rules listed there. Official and approved 501st merchandise should ONLY be offered to 501st members ONLY through the "Garrison Merchandise Forum" of this board & on forums in non-public areas. “Official (501st Legion )merchandise” is to be sold at cost. Exceptions to this might include a fundraiser where any profit would go to charity or to fund additional 501st merchandise as gifts or giveaways. Appropriate sales include official 501st merchandise that bears the 501st name or logo (including Garrisons, Squads, and other 501st groups) and that have been approved by the Legion Merchandise Officer. If you are not sure if your merchandise qualifies as "official", ask the Legion Merchandise Officer (see 501st.com to find out who currently serves in this position or ask your Garrison Command Staff). To have your merchandise information posted in the Merchandise forum, email all the details, including a link to the artwork, to the Legion Merchandise Officer.

    8) NO discussion of politics or religion. Any posts should relate to 501st business or Star Wars related topics.

    9) Controversial topics that need resolution at the Legion Council level should not attempt resolution in general discussion areas. Posts that bring attention to these issues are permitted, but Moderators reserve the right to lock topics that are out of control and no longer productive due to excessive opinionated or repetitive posts.

DISCIPLINARY ACTION: To be fair, violators of any of these guidelines will be given 1 warning and (will be emailed or PM'ed about the breach) their offending posts may be edited or deleted. The 2nd violation will result in no access to the TAG Forum with the time served is up to the descretion of Command Staff. With an established history of violations that include warnings & bannings, repeat offenders may be placed on immediate posting restriction without warning. Severe violations such as blatant and hateful attacks may result in instant banning & lockout of TAG Forum alltogether, without the benefit of a warning. The Command Staff of this board will attempt to be as fair and unbiased as possible, and have been selected based upon their ability and demonstrated history to act as such. But there are times when an individual may be made an example of...don't be this person! The Command Staff word is FINAL, please do not aggravate a situation further by arguing over a decision to edit/moderate.

    10) Your Moderators for the TAG Forum are & only Command Staff (The Commanding Officer, Executive Officer, Garrison Captain of the Guard). The Webmaster is the only exception to the rule as they need Admin access to all parts of the TAG Forum. But they are not permitted to edit, delete, nasty threads or post until getting permission from Command Staff first.

    Thank you.
    Command Staff
  2. Women's & Children's Hospital Visit

    25 May 2011 - 06:16 PM

    6082 Troop Report:
    Women's & Children's Hospital visit

    Location: WCH, King William rd

    Landscape/Weather: Indoors

    Date/Time: 25/05/11 - 0930-1230

    Troopers: 6082(TS), 6556(TB), 7753(TK)

    Wranglers: None

Report: After a quick detour & transfer of equipment, 6082 & 7753 shuttled out to Docking Bay 72, as our local Intel suggested the building was housing rebel spies. A quick Recon, with no sign of 6556 yet, we were greeted by our contact, who quickly escorted us to the Staging area. After donning the armour, COMSAT confirmed the arrival of 6556, who was having problems with the conjestion around DB-72. 6082 & 7753 decided to procede with the search, starting up on the 4th floor. A quick meet & greet with 6556, & the search continued. Fore-armed with Imperial-issue Propaganda, we went from door to door, spreading the glory of the Empire wherever we went.
Locals seem to have a curious custom, where they capture a holographic image of everyone they meet. This Trooper believes it was to feed troop movements back to the(so-far elusive) Rebels.

After not finding any insurgents within the confines of the 4th floor, our local guide suggested continuing our search in a newly-formed establishment, known as the Starlight Escape Room. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the local "Captains". IMPSEC did not inform us that one of the Captains was indeed Recruit Ragetti. Ragetti informed us that since opening the SER, he hadn't noticed any known Rebel activity, but would report in if he found anything worth relaying. We decided to patrol the area, speaking with locals & passing out further Propaganda, just to make sure we hadn't missed anything.

Unfortunately, no Rebels were found....this time!

    Summary: A thoroughly enjoyable Troop

    Casualties: None

    Injuries: None

Armour Repairs: A cumberbund blow-out, easily repaired

    Happy People: Everyone

    People not happy: None

    Mission Status: Completed

    6082 Out

EDIT: Just waiting on written confirmation BEFORE posting pics, as per WCH policy.
  3. Wrangler Code Of Conduct

    15 May 2011 - 04:08 PM

    Wrangler Code of Conduct

    Age:
    15 & older.
Whilst age is not a barrier, it is believed that most 15+ year olds are at least mature enough to take their responsibilities seriously.
They must either be a close relative, close friend or a perspective member who has applied for membership.

    Dress code:
Neat casual dress, preferably with a TAG or Wrangler shirt.
We do not have a set dress standard, as long as it falls within the confines of decency (ie: being without profane or vulgar features or statements, & must be viewable by young children) it will be acceptable.

    Behavior:
Whilst you are performing your duties as a Wrangler, it is expected that you will not use foul language, or behave lewdly or obscenely whilst in public. Likewise, you are not to engage in sexual harassment or sexual misconduct. This applies not only to unwelcome conduct that violates State & Federal laws, but also to inappropriate conduct of any nature.

Children who accompany their parents are the responsibility of that parent, & any incidents involving the child, the parent will be asked to remove the child & themselves from the area, & disciplinary action may be taken against the parent.

    Disciplinary action:
Wranglers acting inappropriately will be asked to leave & be banned from participating in further events within our group.
Cadets/Recruits will be dealt with as per Legion Charter, & as if they were a full 501st member.

Our behavior in public is important, so incidents will be dealt with strictly.
