Well that's simply not true bud, we'd love for you to come over and say hi at [arma]Geddon and moreover you can get involved a lot by 'wrangling'. That doesn't require a costume and we 'always' need someone to wrangle to keep the kids from sneaking under our feet and getting squished, taking photos and explaining to people about what we do. It's PR and safety officer all rolled in one. There's plenty of ways you can be involved in that regard. Moreover, you can see the gear up close which gives you the opotunity to see how it goes together when it's not on us. Btw, there's an Armour party this Sat, it's a good place to start to meet us and have a look at how we construct etc. It will be full on work orientated, but PM me for details [anyone really], it's not mine but Steve's told me the "more the merrier".

Stu.

Well it looks like I am heading over to sunny Sydney. Been offered work there so gotta take it. Been trying to join the Southern Cross Garrison but my email hasn't been accepted for the past 2 days? Not sure whats going on does anyone know any of their members personally that could shed some light?
Thanks for the warm welcome here maybe we will meet at some of the more bigger troops. Will still pop in for advice if thats ok?

Hi Gaz, you'd be surprised how many of the folks on here hang around on the SCG forums as well. You're welcome to ask questions where ever you like, most people won't complain about getting a chance to show off their not inconsiderable skills. :P
