OK Major dren- storm! The college Lawn booked our room to someone else without consulting me(I tried to book/secure it this arvo & they claim someone else got in yesterday!!!??? STUFF THEM!!!!http://forum.501tag.com/public/style_emoticons/default/mad.gif ). I am now conducting an extensive search of the surrounding area.

I will list our options as soon as I get a decent list. Watch this space, but do not despair! We may even get a good one directly on a main street with tram line. There are several options on High St, Greville St and one on Toorak road.

After consulting with local Knightfall members it has been proposed that we move this event to the Friday evening(the Saturday clashed with a "cannot-be-missed" roller-derby event!?). I will post my findings later today after doing a recon. run in the district today.

GOOD NEWS TROOPERS! WE ARE BACK IN BUSINESS FOR THE 16TH. NEW VENUE- THE PRAHRAN HOTEL. 82 HIGH ST PRAHRAN.
ROOM HIRE IS FREE!!!! FINGER FOOD BY THE PLATTER. TRAM STOP RIGHT IN FRONT(NUMBER 6 TRAM).
WE HAVE A DECENT SIZED ROOM THAT CAN BE PARTITIONED AND HAS A TV (RCA CONNECTIONS ONLY!) AND IT'S OWN COURTYARD. BILLIARD TABLE AND PLENTY OF BIG LOUNGES.

FINGER FOOD PACKAGE1- 5 PIECES @ $15 EACH
FINGER FOOD PACKAGE1- 7 PIECES @ $20 EACH
VEGETARIANS CATERED FOR ONCE WE HAVE FIRM NUMBERS.
SO WE ARE BACK IN THE GAME.

Just a quick clarification, the reason that some of us asked for the Mixer to be moved to the Saturday night was not just because the Roller Derby was on, all though that is a spectacle not to be missed, but because one of our hardest working troopers Kimelius will be reffing his very first match that night and we were thinking of trooping it and heading to the after party at the pub afterwards. Kind of a second mixer for those Derby fans from interstate as well.

So guys is the derby on the Friday or the Saturday ?
I havent been on here in a while, my bad, and apparently russ said all 6 of uss will be there!

No i would love to go to the Derby but also cant wait for the Mixer night,
Also gonna make it an awesome night either way because its my 21st on the 16th,
and everyone is to be there and celebrate what wil be an awesome night!

The derby is on the Saturday night. The venue also available for the Friday and they are willing to hold it or notify me if there is another bidder. I need to let them know by the end of the week.
