Yah, well it's pretty much the same as my Lid, the FX, and really it's only had minor updates, but we're still waiting on a really decent lid for that kit.... anyhow... I know you've pretty much done it, but what I did [no experience/forums or ideas at the time].. know it's done, but I thought I'd throw in some ideas for prosterityUse a plate behind the two areas.
  • Hid two screws under the 'ear' pieces
  • shaped the ears with heat [I dont recommend over a stove but did it that way] and a little trimming
  • Fix the bottom underneath.
I totally recommend the hard hat liner, I just used hot glue to hold it [held until repeatively wacked on the head,.. thanks coles xmas]. The benefits in my mind are, an increased air flow, as air is what will cool you. I don't have or need fan in my helmet. Never needs adjusting as it's set to my head, I just slip my head in and it's ready. I've even put one in my Vader because they're so supportive of your head and 'cool' is everything for Vader. Now I did use hotglue because I didn't know differently and it was late Saturday night the day before Geddon last year [my first troop!] If I were to do it again, I would have used PVC glue and made a better join for the two halves by making a piece that sits behind the other, but whatever.
