TROOP REPORT- THE AUDREYS MUSIC VIDEO
DATE: 14.00 HRS, 22nd August 2010
LOCATION/TERRAIN: Indoor- Collingwood Freemasons Hall, Gipps St Collingwood
TROOPERS:
DUNKAROO: TB 8503
JABOB: TK 6283
GRUNGIE_42: TK 4258
MJ: (Jedi Barriss Offee) TAG ID DZ 3016
PANDA BEAR: (Jedi apprentice) TAG ID DZ 2592
HAMISH: TK 6673
Mission: A request had been made to squad command for troopers to attend the filming of a new music video for the local band called 'The Audreys'. The instructions were explicit- that members of Knightfall squad infiltrate the venue incognito(civilian attire) and assess the location for any danger/rebel elements before filming could commence. Troopers would be required to mingle amongst the crowd under the direction of the attending 'director' while keeping constant vigil over the proceedings. Other members of the civilian population attending included a squad of roller-derby girls, rockers(?!), dedicated fans(we treated them as suspicious! They had rebellion written all over them!), gamers, and a sizeable number of cheer leaders.
The troopers arrived in their various transports and quickly checked the perimeter for all access routes and amenities.
Grungie was required to armour up at the very beginning for some establishing walk-throughs, close-ups and beauty shots. The rest of the squad were on stand-by until the choreographer rounded the entire cast together to learn the excruciatingly complex dance routine that would form the finale of the finished video clip.
Members of knightfall were required to become cast members and mingle among a group of 'gamers' for filming of the first verse while Grungie(once again in civilian attire) infiltrated the 'fans' to ascertain their true motives for being there. After many takes(I do mean many takes) the troops were permitted to armour up and practice their routines for the finale.
The chorus-line-finale was a test for all involved. TK 6673 had to withdraw from the line up after the 6(hundredth?) take and resign to the sidelines while the rest of the squad soldiered on.
The final phase of the evening involved select groups of participants for some final filming and beauty passes. One key shot involved the lead singer aquiring a Jedi lightsaber and despatching TB 8503. Although the first take was very convincing, the director deemed it necassary to film this scene a further 12(hundred?) times.
The troopers performed admirably with Dunkaroo dying convincingly over and over again.
At the end of filming(approx. 23.15 hrs) the cast and crew expressed their gratitude for our attendance.
Casualties: None.
Armour malfunctions: Hamish's Bucket(still wearable) and Dunkaroo's Back pack/pod(dying a little too convincingly).
Happy people: All.
Unhappy people: None.
Mission Status: Completed.

LOL! Me too! I didn't want to sound like a nanna so I didn't mention it. My knees & quads ache and I have armour kisses at the backs of my shins due to those back-kicks!
