Location: Korumburra (far edge of the outer rim)
Landscape/Weather: Hilly terrain/light drizzle
Date/Time:10th of March, 2010/3:40 pm
Troopers: OzVulcan (Cadet)

Report:
Upon hearing that the local of this backwater territory in the outer rim were questioning whether the Empire still held onto this area. This young Cadet strait out of the academy was dispatched to 'remind' the populace that the Empire was still as present as always. I left from the barracks at 3:40 pm as the younglings were leaving the various school grounds. Upon walking past the school (and stopping for many photo's questions) I made my way down the main street of the town. Here I ran into a group of younglings who were adamant I escort them to football practice, as I had become 'their' Stormtrooper (hopes my superior officer doesn't here of this defection ).

With a small sigh I walked with them down to the show grounds were I posed for more photo's with the team and the coach, whom was very grateful. I then made my way back up the main commercial street of the town, were I received a lot of whistles (followed by "looking sexy", waves, questions and of course posed for more photo's. This Cadet was slightly bemused, these people were supposed to be intimidated not jubilant by my presence <_<

Summary: Successful troop, In the fact that I raised a lot f awareness in the town as to what the 501st is and what we do.
Injuries: So many armor kisses, I can still feel them burning :(
Armor repairs: Thermal det fell off, sustained irremovable scratching, but it can just be explained as carbon scorching from blaster fire ;) Small crack in the triangle piece on the left shin from where I caught it on a corner (not noticeable). Slight wear and tear to the CABoots.
Happy people: All of the towns people that saw me, they never see this kind of thing.
People not happy: The young ones at football training when I had to leave.

Thanks mate, please do scout ahead at the next troop, I was tripping over things I couldn't see, got a lot of permanent scratches on my armor today from doing that :P Have they given you an ETA on your undersuit and helmet?

Great work mate. I wish more of our troopers that complain of not enough events in their area would follow your example. Great work. I would not be surprised if more future troopers come out of the woodwork now.

I don't know what the hold up is with your application mate. The "ready for Duty" list is growing.

Nice work mate. :) Did you have a wrangler with you, or did you brave the great beyond all on your lonesome?

No wrangler, I braved it and went lonesome. Didn't have any problems as it's a small country town, and I know most of the people there. Most were surprised to find out it was me behind the armor :P

Awesome bud!...

I know Sean's [Hamish] known to troop alone .. [and who knows what else ;) ]... around town for kicks.

I really think dings, scratches and bumps are part of the look. I've wiped mine down once, but left all the scratches and dints in it, if anything treated it badly to increase them.

I personally would not carrying anything that remotely looks like a blaster if trooping alone in Victoria.
