Hey Guys and Gals,

I have just finished glueing my FX TD kit, and thought you might be interested in my "dirt"

Anyways, the armour is complete, still have to do the rigging, but all snaps are in place.

The first pics are of the completed set, I decided to use the bucket that came with the kit. I pulled out the bubble lenses which were supplied, which were never right anyway and painted the proper TD panels on.

I then used the darkest burnt umber, a sponge and PLENTY of paper napkins, and set to work....that was Saturday covered. Yesterday I applied a lighter red/yellowish tinge...which was perfect. The darker colour does most of the work in my opinion...the rest is just subtle detailing. It's pretty much done, I'm just taking the bucket a little bit slower.

So here it is...

Looking good though you have one two many buttons on your ab plate.
Are you going to equip the shoulder pauldren ,ammo pouches and back pack?

Hah. I was looking at those first couple of photos and thinking "Jeez, that weathering is really light! I can't even see it."

Nice work - cant wait to see it all.
Take pics in the shade or on a overcast day as it wont drown out the detail in your sandy work.
