Report: A report was recieved at Imperial Center, that the holo program "The Shak" were coming to Science works and the emperor wanted some troopers on hand to ensure the relics contained within the "Where Science Meets Imagination" exhibit did not fall into the hands of the Rebel Legion while the cameras were rolling.
Scout Trooper Wedge and myself rose at 5:00am and aftermaking sure we looked our best for the cameras, caught a Skycab to Hamish's place then continued on to ScienceWorks for a briefing by 7:30. We made it within plenty of time beating the Corascant peak hour. After suiting up and catching up with the costumers from the Rebel Legion and Skywalking who had also attended, we went up to the exhibit and waited for the crew from the Shak to arrive. I was very surprissed and happy to see that The exhibit space where WSMI is housed was fully lit for the cleaning staff to do their thing. This meant that all of the displays were brightly lit, instead of the murky darkness that we usually only got to see them in. I took advantage of the situation and set about quickly with the camera on my phone and got some great shots of the models and props before the darkness returned.
At 8:00 sharp, Curio and the crew from the Shak arrived and set upon getting ready to get to shoot. First up we shot a few quick scean'sinvolving Curio, a Scout, a Stormtrooper Darth Reavan, Luke Skywalker and and Imperial officer (me) playing Star Wars Monopoly when we are interupted by Princess Leia who tells us there is so much more stuff to do and see, and then we break up our game and start exploring the exhibit. Lord Vader arrives and whilst the Lord and I (again) are inspecting the Tusken Raider display, Curio comes up and starts asking Lord Vader all these annoying questions (I think they were good questions actually, it showed that he was a real Star Wars fan), but Lord vader it seems was not impressed and I had to order him to stop force choking poor old Curio. After all, it is a kids show and he is the host. Then all hell broke loose as the Rebels made their move and attacked, trying to take over the broadcast, we fought them off through out the exhibit until we manuvered them out the front of the Museum until in the end it came down to a light saber duel between Curio and ObiWan (Ric) and Darth Vader. You will have to wait till the eppisode airs in about 6 weeks to find out the final result however. A few more scenes were shot too involving Curio being dragged out of the exhibit by Stormtroopers and Jedi knights standing around contemplating and such.
Summery: The team from the Shak were great to work with and the shooting only took around an hour to wrap up. As usual the Scienceworks team were very helpful and Paula was always at hand to get us anything we needed.
Mission Status: The exhibit saved from rebels and the program spot shot, I can safely say, Mission Completed.

Curio (Drew Jarvis)
Curio is the founder and natural leader of the group. And the three friends are all very close, even though they all come from very different backgrounds. This works in perfect balance with each of them living and breathing their own interests and passions with the respect and encouragement from the other members.
Curio's passion is science. Having grown up in a scientific family it's in his blood. Whenever an opportunity arises that allows Curio to conduct an experiment that either proves or disproves a theory, a chill of excitement runs down his spine. It's this enthusiastic fascination with the world and everything in it that allows Curio to demonstrate that science can be both educational and fun for kids of all ages all over the world.
Curio is joined regularly on The Shak by his physicist friend Dr Joel Gilmore. Like Curio, Joel has a love of science and in fact visits schools all over the country to share his enthusiasm for science with Aussie kids.
There are some distinct similarities between Curio and a couple of other regular "guests" on The Shak. The first is Dexter Fry, an old-school television presenter with his own show entitled Unexplainable Mysteries Explained. In his indomitable style, Dexter is constantly in search of the answer to questions that have no scientific explanation!
The second regular on the show is the effervescent, and slightly rotund, Jan. Jan is an excitable Swedish chef who can barely contain himself when it comes to food or to meeting celebrities who come on the show specifically to cook with him.
Apart from science (and Picasso) some of Curio's other great loves are comics, sci-fi and scary movies, and the Incredible Hulk (he feels an innate connection as The Hulk, too, is a scientist, albeit one with great strength and power!).
If Curio had to be described in five words they would be:
Quirky, energetic, individual, enthusiastic and unpredictable.
