“TS-0969” Troop Report
“Celebration Japan 1st Anniversary Reunion”
Location: “Bee Darts bar, Shibuya (Dogenzaka) Tokyo”
Landscape/Weather: “Hot and Humidity THROUGH the roof...LOL”
Date / Time: “Saturday 18th of July 2009”
Troopers: “TS-0969 & TS-2611 from TAG (no armor... TAG shirts only)
Wrangler: “Mrs Sanda wrangled for us"
Report: “We arrived at Bee's dart bar at around 18:00, and after scouting the area decided on taking over the VIP area of the place. Once settled around 50 people that attended C J started arriving. Tsuneo Sanda and his wife soon joined us for a few drinks and dinner". This wasn't a 501st Only event, more of all of the people that attended C J from the different fan clubs and also LFL's representative in Japan Mr Ogawa attended (there were 4 honorary members there all together). After a bit of dinner and a chat, TS-2611 and myself "presented Tsuneo Sanda the signed pic from "All of the Troopers that attended Reunion 2007 as well as a signed letter in Japanese and English from the TAG CO and PRO". Mr Sanda was stunned for words but "Very, Very Happy" to have recieved it (more on this later perhaps B) )
Summery: “After waiting for the postie all week the signed picture arrived safely Wednesday night here in Tokyo. Mr Sanda was a little shocked and very happy
Casualties: “No Ewoks were killed in the delivery of this important photo and letter from TAG unfortunately"
Injuries: “NIL"
Armor Repairs: “N/A"
Happy People: “Just about everyone at the event was very happy"
People not happy: “many Moscow Mules didn't make it through the event"
Mission Status: “The mission was a total success"

After two and a half years since it begun the journey around Australia, the Signed 2007 Reunion group photo has finally finished its journey. Thank Buddha for that. Can't wait to see the pics Stu.
KG, can you post a copy of the letter we sent please.
For those who werent here two years ago, Tsuneo Sanda presented to Stuart and Miko some of his art prints to hand out to all reunion attendee's. It was a gesture that a few of us felt very strongly about thanking him for. Kristian printed up a special edition of the group photo and we sent it on its journey around Australia (it visited some states more than twice).
Thanks to everyone who helped make this happen and sent the picture quickly on its way.

For the newer troopers that don't know why we gave the photo of all of the troopers that attended "TAG reunion 2007"...
I had lunch with Sanda San about a week before travelling to OZ for Reunion. He asked me "how many troopers would attend".
I told him a rough number... and he said "He would give a little gift to take to OZ".... it ended up being 2 of his signed prints
for each trooper... and he "express posted them to my house to make sure that they made the trip to OZ"... thats the kinda guy
that Sanda San is.... :D
