Love the pics, Bruce. Some intriguing improv. going on there. it is all really working, though. Kudos! One of the advantages of working with the larger scale kits.
Can't wait for the next instalment.

Nah. It'd catch fire.
But I've got some 0.4 mm galvanised tin sheet, and I'm going to make a bigger version.
Got it scaled up on a printer to about 5 feet high.
I'm not sure I would be brave enough to launch it...it could do some serious damage on the way downhttp://forum.501tag.com/public/style_emoticons/default/blink.gif

Nice idea!.... I can just think of the fun I'd have with that rocket... Works even better if you use a pentolite base charge because it will turn the rocket into a 'shape charge'! *evil grin* That baby will probably crack 7000m/s top speed!

Ooh I love this thread.

This ones a repair job after my brothers dog got to it. The mongrel chewed the the back fins right off ( the dog not the brother ).

It's a Hammership from the AD & D Spelljammer expansion, built to 25mm scale, that's the scale the figures are cast to.
Its made from sheet balsa and lots and lots of matchsticks.. never again..
