When I log in and click view new content I am getting the page with no new content found but there is new topics in the little box to the right..............is it just me?

The "new content" seems to just be in the last day or 24hrs. So you may have forums with older unread posts, but nothing recent. That said, there have been a few updates recently so you should have seen something.
