I'm thinking Imperial Gunner now after seeing the new aussie helmets. It's also very appealing to have your face covered and be totally anonymous out in public! :ph34r: Would TPE's stuff be 501st approved when he got to selling them? I'm waiting to see if I sell some work in May before I can really commit to buying a costume. I've looked on the Imperial Gunners website, and it doesn't seem too hard to get a flight suit, boots, gloves etc, but can you have it without the bib/pauldron? I prefer it without.

Anyway, change me to an IG! (is that the acronym? I know I really should know...)

Hi Lisa, I just done an IG for my missus. Flightsuit and gloves are easy. Good German jackboots are getting harder to source. You can get a custom chest protector from here. Good luck whichever way you go.

Thanks Jason, but that link seems to be a 501st members only site. Maybe once I decide, I can get someone to fish the details out for me. If you don't mind me asking, what sort of price range are the boots in?

If you can give me any tips, they're more than welcome. I know I don't have the skills to build a helmet, so I'll have to buy that made, so it's just the 'accessories'!

I don't think there's many IGs in Aus, but I'm more than happy to be corrected if I'm wrong... The more there are, the more pointers I can get lol :)

Depends what size you're after. The smaller boots are getting hard to find at reasonable prices. You're probably looking at upwards of $70.
The bib is $35US plus shipping. Made to order for your measurements.
We have a few Gunners out there, firing randomly at recalcitrant planets and Mon Calimari cruisers ;)

Trooper TC 1929, Nick Wilson has been located at spoken too. Whilst on Recruitment Duty at Supanova Melbourne over the weekend, Nick came over and introduced himself. He is from Horsham, Victoria and has already almost finsihed his next two costumes. We should see him on the boards very soon.

Not sure if this is the right thread for this, but I have an Anakin EpIII costume (unfinished) and was wondering if I could send/post pics so that whoever it is that decides if a costume is acceptable or not (I'm thinking Scrappa?) can take a took at it and give me some pointers on what I'll need to have fixed by the time I apply for membership?

If so that would help me out a lot, because I'd rather know now that the entire costume will have to be redone then find out 7-8 months down the track ;)
